A communications graduate and former journalist with 20 years' public relations experience
Providing public relations and stakeholder management guidance to the public transport sector for over 10 years.

Former Head of Communications for Network Rail's West Coast project from 2002 to 2004, leading cross industry communications through to the successful introduction of Virgin's 125mph London-Manchester service

Nigel formed Quill Power Communications Limited in 2004 with a view to providing first class public relations guidance and support to a wide variety of clients. Projects to date have included:

  • Arriva's successful 'CrossCountry' franchise bid
  • Design consultation for Edinburgh Tram
  • Future extension of Manchester's Metrolink tram system
  • The Community Rail Development Strategy

Launch of Area Business Academy
